‘Knowledge Collaboration & Learning for Sustainable Innovation’ can be illustrated by the example of the traditional light bulb. To put an end to the traditional light bulb and its environmental impact and to change the way it has been used in society for so long not only requires new sustainable innovations, but also the collaboration of a range of stakeholders and actors. This should lead to increasing and sharing knowledge regarding sustainable innovation and learning by the stakeholders and actors involved. New innovations must lead to sustainable consumption and production through attractive products and services that are accepted by society and adopted by end-users, both in developing and developed countries.

ERSCP 2012, May 2-4, 2012, Bregenz, Austria, Call for papers The ERSCP 2012 places special emphasis on intense and vivacious dialogue between research and business. The motto "SCP meets industry" demonstrates this approach.
This particular focus is shown by the fact that 8 leading companies located in the region are partners of the conference.
We would like to encourage researchers to meet the needs of those (and other) companies and to give critical feedback on corporate activities. Companies are asked to raise questions to the scientific community and to bring in their experiences and best practices.
